Meshtastic Armenia is an independent, community-driven project building an off-grid, decentralized LoRa radio mesh across the Republic of Armenia.
Our mission is to establish a resilient, open-source communication backbone that operates 100% independently of commercial cellular carriers, fiber backbones, and centralized servers.

⚡ What is Meshtastic?
Meshtastic is an open-source, decentralized mesh networking system designed to run on low-power, affordable LoRa (Long Range) radios (such as ESP32 and Nordic nRF52 chips).

- 🏔️ Long-Distance Line of Sight — LoRa signals penetrate terrain and bridge dozens of kilometers between mountain summits and city valleys.
- 🔄 Multi-Hop Relaying — Every node automatically routes messages for neighbors; no central tower required.
- 🔒 End-to-End Encryption — Supports both public emergency channels and private AES-256 encrypted group/direct chats.
- 📱 Zero Internet Required — Connects via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to your iOS/Android phone to send messages, locations, and telemetry.
